Easter at Dickerson Road

Since we knew we would be traveling Easter weekend we celebrated at home the week before.  I asked Jared and Lydia if they would be interested in having an egg hunt with friends but they both wanted a family Easter mostly because it was the last one we would be having in our house for at least 2 years if not ever.  We filled the weekend with bunny buns, Easter egg dyeing, an egg hunt, Easter baskets, resurrection rolls and Peep house building.

The egg hunt was a lot of fun.  I wonder how many more we will have with Jared and Lydia. They each found 12 eggs filled with candy and then their gold and silver eggs which had 2 dollars and more candy in them.  We ended up hiding both money eggs on the Highlander.  Jared’s was in the tire wheel and Lydia’s on the sports rack.  Jared found his sooner than Lydia this year but it took both of them a decent amount of time to find them.
