Apple Slices or Frozen Yogurt

To completely enjoy the amazing fall weather we have been having we went out for some frozen yogurt on Saturday.  Everyone knows how Mark and I feel about frozen yogurt but apparently Jared does not feel the same way as us at this point.  I brought some apple slices for him as a snack and he totally preferred them to the yogurt.  I think it is too cold for him.  But I am also happy that he will eat fruit over ice cream.  We will see how long that lasts.

I am often amazed at how many times a day I look over at Jared and just think how cute he is and how much I love him.  He is really talking quite a bit now and I think its super cute. It's taken forever! I can't believe he will be 2 years old in just over 2 weeks! We are heading over to Utah in 2 weeks and can't wait to play with family. Let us know if we can meet up with you.  We will be there October 08th - October 15th.

Things seem to be going well with Lydia. She is really active and Mark finally got to feel her moving around. I feel more tired then I thought I would at this point but it's not too bad. Unfortuanetly I always get tired around 3:30 which is a little too late to take a nap.  I will admit that it is quite fun to tell people how far along I am when they find out I am pregnant. They are so surprised.  It's more fun to be able to say what we are having and how many weeks I am too.  22 down 18 to go!

Done!

Sunday was our Primary Program.  It was so great!  The kids did an awesome job and it is so nice to have it finished. I came home from our practice/activity on Saturday and found these waiting for me.  Mark makes me happy as does crossing this off my list of things to do.

In not so happy news. Jared has been sick since Saturday night.  Lots of throwing up and really messy diapers. I feel so bad for him.  He didn't throw up at all on Sunday and Monday but did again on Tuesday.  I was hoping it was just a 24 hour bug but no such luck.  Poor klid. I think he is sort of afraid to eat anything because he knows he will probably throw it up. Then Monday night Mark got sick too. I am just wondereing when it is going to hit me.  It's so disgusting!

If you guessed...

LYDIA GRACE

Then you were right!  We went to our ultrasound appointment today and found out that little Lydia will be joining us in January.  So Jared and Mark were right all along.  Lydia is right on track with development and looks great.  I feel so relieved being at 20 weeks and seeing how well she is developing. It is such a miracle. Unfortuantely we also went over our "new" insurance policy at the office today and it is so much worse then the last 2 years. Jared's delivery was such a better deal.  Sigh.  But today is a happy day so we won't dwell on that and I am sure that if we didn't have insurance we would be a lot worse off.

We can't wait to meet Lydia and are so happy that she is growing just as she should.

Picnic in the park

On Thursday (the first) I put up our fall decorations. It made me happy.  Then this weekend the hot weather went away and this next week doesn't have a day above 80 degrees.  I am so excited.  I feel so unmotivated during the summer and now I am ready to do all kinds of fun things. Even better is that as the hot weather goes away so do my allergies which makes life SO much better.

I think the mountains looked so pretty in the background.  That's Pikes Peak in the middle.

In honor of the amazing weather we went over to a park to have a picnic.  We hadn't been to a park in awhile (too hot) so Jared was super excited. So excited that when we sat down for the picnic part of the outing he wasn't too interested.  We haven't really been on one for about a year and he is a lot more mobile now. It looks like we will have to practice some.  It was so great to be outside in the beautiful weather. I love it!

It's going to be a busy weekend here for us. On Friday (fingers crossed) we find out what we are having so you have just a few more days to vote if you want to. Saturday we have the practice for the annual Primary program and then Sunday is the big day. I am looking forward to having that behind me. It should be good though.
